a 10.0 kg block of wood is pulled up a ramp with a cable at a constant velocity. given the information below, determine the work preformed if the block is moved 1.75 m up the ramp. if this work was preformed in 2.5 s, how much power was produced

Answer:

Work performed=57.14 NM

Power= 22.86 J/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Work done= Force/distance

W=F/d

we don't have the force but weight and force is the same thing so to find weight we have to use the formula

Weight= mass × gravitational field strength

W=mg

W= 10.0×10. (please remember that g has a constant value of 10)

W=100 N

Therefore the force is 100 N

Going back to the original equation

W= 100/1.75

W= 57.14 NM

Power=Work done/time

P= W/t

P= 57.14/2.5

P= 22.86 J/s
