Change in quantity demanded = (1000-1250)/(100+1250)/2

Change in quantity demanded = -0.2222

Change in price = (5-4) / (5+4)/2

Price elasticity = -0.2222 ÷ 0.2222 = -1

Therefore price elasticity is unitary.
