Joe sold a total of 10 baked goods. Each cookie costs $1.25 and each brownie costs $2.50. Joe made $20 at the bake sale. How many cookies did Joe sell?

Answer: Joe sold 5 cookies

Explanation:

If you do the multipaction you will know that 2.50 x 5 = 12.50 and then you would have 5 more baked goods so then you would multiply 1.50 x 5 which equals 7.5 which when you add together equals a total of 20
