Answer: Technology

Step-by-step explanation:

One of the reasons cities and nation's began growing rapidly in the 1800's was due to technology. Technology created room for industrial expansion. Most cities started becoming noisy by cars, air pollution became a rising issue causing damage to the health concern of people but development was the aim, so countries found a way to live about and around the deficiency that came with technology. Buildings began having elevation and more security conscious measures were adopted.
