14 cm

Explanation:

Given that the width is 4 cm and the length is 6cm. If after enlargement, the length becomes 21 cm, the multiplier or factor of enlargement x may be computed as

6 * x = 21

Divide both sides by 6

x = 21/6

= 7/2 = 3.5

Hence increasing the width by the same factor, the width of the enlarged photograph will be

= 3.5 * 4 cm

= 14 cm
