Given:

The equation is

(a)/(b)=(b)/(c)

To find:

The value of
b^2.

Solution:

We have,

(a)/(b)=(b)/(c)

On cross multiplication, we get

a* c=b* b

ac=b^2

b^2=ac

Therefore, the value of
b^2 is
ac.
