Explanation:

When two angles are complementary they add up to 90 degrees

so for example if angle 1 is 2 angle two must equal 88 (they have to add up to 90)

When two angles are supplementary they must add up to 180 (so it's the same process as table 1 but instead of adding to 90 it's 180)
