Given:

The diameter of the cylindrical pipe = 6ft.

Height of the pipe = 34 ft

To find:

The volume of the pipe.

Solution:

We have,

Diameter of cylinder = 6 ft

Radius of cylinder
=(6)/(2)=3 ft

Height of the pipe = 34 ft

Volume of a cylinder is

V=\pi r^2h

Where, r is the radius and h is the height.

Putting r=3 and h=34, we get

V=\pi (3)^2(34)

V=\pi (9)(34)

V=306\pi

V=306(3.14)

V=960.84

Therefore, the volume of the cylindrical pipe is
306\pi \approx 960.84 cubic ft.
