The total capacitive reactance of the circuit is determined as 66.3 ohms.

How to calculate the total capacitance of the circuit?

The total capacitance of the circuit is calculated by applying the following formula as follows;

Xc = 1/ωC

Xc = 1/2πfC

where;

  • C is the capacitance of the circuit
  • f is the frequency of the AC circuit

Xc = 1 / ( 2π x 120 x 20 x 10⁻⁶)

Xc = 66.3 ohms

Thus, the total capacitive reactance of the circuit is determined as 66.3 ohms.
