The equation of the line is : y - 9 = 2(x - 3)

The equation of the line can be written in standard form as ;

  • y - y1 = m(x - x1)
  • m = slope

From the question;

  • x1 = 3 ; y1 = 9
  • m = 2

Inputting our values into the equation;

y - 9 = 2(x - 3)

Therefore, the equation is : y - 9 = 2(x - 3)
