The value of f(1) in the function given is 3

Using the expression for the function given ;

  • f(x) = √x - 10

To obtain f(1) ; substitute x = 1 into the function

Now we have;

f(1) = √1 - 10

f(1) = √-9

f(1) = 3

Therefore, the value of f(1) is 3
