The parameters are defined as follows

the starting = a

the base = b

the exponents = x

f(x) = a(b)ˣ

40 = a * 1 (b exponent 0 is 1)

a = 40

Using point (1, 60)

f(x) = a(b)ˣ

b = 60/40
