I hope this helps you out!!

We start off by drawing out the triangle on a graph! Placing points (x ,y) at

(-3, 5), (-5, -2) and (2, -2). I've included a screenshot of how the triangle should look to help you out visually!

From there, to find the area we use the equation, area =
(1)/(2) b • h.

To find the base, we subtract: -5 - 2 = -7, meaning that the base equals 7.

And to find the height, we subtract: 5 - (-2) = 7, also meaning that the height equals 7 as well.

Plugging those two numbers in the equation for area, we get:

area =
(1)/(2) 7 • 7

area =
(1)/(2) 49

area = 24.5 or 24 1/2, in this case your answer should be B.
