The area covered by 1 liter and 10 liters of paint are 4.5 and 45 m³ area respectively.

Using the concept of proportional relationship;

Let area covered by 1 liter of paint = a

Now we have ;

13.5 = 3

a = 1

cross multiply

3a = 13.5

a = 13.5/3

a = 4.5 m²

Hence Area covered by 1 litre of paint is

B.)

Let area covered by 10 liters = b

Now we have;

13.5 = 3

b = 10

3b = 135

b = 135/3

b =

Hence, 10 liters of paint will cover 45 m³
