Coco was a very emotional and heart-wrenching movie. It used one of humanity's greatest fears of being forgotten after dying and presented just that, using Hispanic traditions as a tool to convey it. The audience can feel many powerful emotions of grief, joy, and remembrance within every song throughout the movie. Remember me is an ode to the living and to the dead, making the plot resonate even more with the audience. All these reasons make Coco a great movie, and one that I feel anyone can relate to as we all have/will lose someone close to us, even if that person is ourselves.
