It implies that Force opposes motion. Option C

First, we need to remember that;

a = dv/dt

Such that;

  • a is acceleration
  • dv is the change in velocity
  • dt is the change in time

Then, we have that;

After point B, A would be negative since the value of dv/dt is negative.

Since, Force = mass ×acceleration

If a = negative, then force would also be negative, that is, force is experienced in opposite direction of motion.
