y = 3/2p

y = 2x + p____________________equ 2

sub equ 2 for y in equ 1

2x + 3(2x + p) = 5p_______________open brackets

8x = 2p______________________divide both sides by 8

x = 1/4p

sub 1/4p for x in equ 2

y = 2(1/4p) + p___________________open brackets

y = 3/2p
