How to determine the length of the segment QT

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

The kite (see attachment)

Also, we have

QR = 13

PT = 8

The diagonals of a kite are perpendicular

This means that we can use the Pythagoras theorem to calculate QT

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

QT² = 13² - 8²

Evaluate

QT² = 105

So, we have

QT = 10.24

Hence, the length of the segment QT is 10.24
