The calculation order will be different and the answers will be different.

Explanation:

whatever is in a will still be add together first, but not d, let me give you an example:

(1+2)-(3+4) and 1+2-3+4

1 and 2 will be added first in both equations, but 3 and 4 will only be add together first in the first equation, in the second equation 1+2 will minus 3 before the second addition, this is the first effect. The calculation of the first equation will be (1+2)-(3+4)=3+7=10 and the calculation of the second equation will be 1+2-3+4=3-3+4=0+4=4. Here is the other effect, the existence of the parentheses cause the answers to come out different as the example I gave you, the first one come out to be 10 and the second 4.
