The total surface area of each figure are:

1) TSA = 94 cm²

2) TSA = 104 m²

3) TSA = 9600 in²

4) TSA = 73 m²

How to find the total surface area?

The formula for total surface area of the given prisms are:

TSA = 2(LW + WH + LH)

1) We are given:

L = 4 cm

W = 5 cm

H = 3 cm

Thus:

TSA = 2((4 * 5) + (5 * 3) + (4 * 3))

TSA = 2(47)

TSA = 94 cm²

2) We are given:

L = 6 m

W = 2 m

H = 5 m

Thus:

TSA = 2((6 * 2) + (6 * 5) + (2 * 5))

TSA = 2(52)

TSA = 104 m²

3) We are given:

L = 40 in

W = 40 in

H = 40 in

Thus:

TSA = 2((40 * 40) + (40 * 40) + (40 * 40))

TSA = 2(4800)

TSA = 9600 in²

4) We are given:

L = 5.6 m

W = 2.2 m

H = 3.1 m

Thus:

TSA = 2((5.6 * 2.2) + (5.6 * 3.1) + (2.2 * 3.1))

TSA = 2(36.5)

TSA = 73 m²
