The area of the triangle is 70 cm²

To determine the area of the triangle, we have to use the formula for calculating the area of a triangle.

It is written as;

A = 1/2 bh

Such that the parameters are given as;

  • A is the area of triangle
  • b is the base of the triangle
  • h is the height of the triangle

Substitute the value, we have;

Area = 1/2 × 10 × 14

Multiply the values, we have;

Area = 1/2 ×140

Divide the values

Area = 70 cm²
