∠ BGC , ∠ AGB , ∠ AGE , lie on a straight line and sum to 180° , that is

∠ BGC + ∠ AGB + ∠ AGE = 180° ( substitute known values )

∠ BGC + 35° + 69° = 180°, so

∠ BGC + 104° = 180° ( subtract 104° from both sides )

∠ BGC = 76°
