The missing terms of the sequence are 84, 164 and 244

How to determine the missing terms of the sequence

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

a(1) = 4

a(5) = 324

The nth term of an arithmetic sequence is represented as

a(n) = a(1) + (n - 1) * d

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

a(5) = a(1) + 4d

So, we have

4 + 4d = 324

4d = 320

d = 80

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

a(2) = 4 + 80 = 84

a(3) = 80 +84 = 164

a(4) = 80 + 164 = 244

Hence, the missing terms of the sequence are 84, 164 and 244
