Explanation:

Hard to explain, but easy. Take your new value, and subtract your initial (starting) value from the new value. In this case, it would be 2.95-2.75= 17. You now can take you difference (17) and divide it by the initial value, so 17/2.75. This gives you 6.181818182. Round to 6.2%
