If the legs of a right triangle are x, (2x - 1) and its hypotenuse is (2x + 1), what is the value of x?​

x=8

Explanation:

(2x + 1)² = x² + (2x - 1)² = x² + (2x - 1)(2x - 1)

(2x + 1)(2x + 1) = x² + 4x²-2x-2x+1

4x²+2x+2x+1 = 5x²-4x+1

4x²+4x+1 = 5x²-4x+1

0= 5x²-4x²-4x-4x+1-1

0= x²-8x

x²-8x=0

x²=8x

x=8
