I divided 100.000 with 1.000 equals 100

the reason is if I find how many times 1.000 goes into 100.000 then I can use that number to times 10m because changes occur at a rate of 10m per 1,000 years.


100.000 / 1.000 = 100

that means that 100.000 is divided up 100 times with each one of those divisions being 1.000.


100 * 10 = 1.000

this means how many times 1.000 went into 100.000 which is 100 and if every 1.000 years = 10m three times how many times 1.000 goes into 100.000 with 10 .
