The graph is in the image at the end.

How to plot the line?

Here we want to plot a line with two known points, we know that the x-intercetpt is 4, while the y-intercept is -2.

So we have the points (4, 0) and (0, -2)

Then the line can be written as:

y = ax - 2

Replacing the values of the first point we get:

0 = a*4 - 2

2 = 4a

2/4 = a

1/2 = a

The equation is:

y = 1/2*x - 2

Now to plot it, just graph the two given points and draw a line that connects them.
