Write an expression in simplest form that is equivalent to the ​expression: ​ ​ 3y+y+2y-4y3y+y+2y−4y

Answer: y(5-12y)

Explanation: collect like terms all the y’s besides the 4y times 3y to get 5y-4y(3y) multiply the 4 and 3 to get 12y then the two y’s from 4y and 3y to get y^2 then factor out the y to get y(5-12y) which is the answer
