y=\begin{cases}x^2-5;_{\text{ }}if_{\text{ }}x\leq0 \\ x^3+3;_{\text{ }}if_{\text{ }}x>0\end{cases}
f(-2)

Since x<0, then:

\begin{gathered} f(-2)=(-2)^2-5 \\ f(-2)=4-5 \\ f(-2)=-1 \end{gathered}
f(2)

Since x>0, then:

\begin{gathered} f(2)=(2)^3+3 \\ f(2)=8+3 \\ f(2)=11 \end{gathered}
