f(-2)

Since x<0, then:


\begin{gathered} f(-2)=(-2)^2-5 \\ f(-2)=4-5 \\ f(-2)=-1 \end{gathered}
f(2)

Since x>0, then:


\begin{gathered} f(2)=(2)^3+3 \\ f(2)=8+3 \\ f(2)=11 \end{gathered}
