Hello!

Let's write the equation below in the slope-intercept form y = mx -b:

y-3=(1)/(2)(x-6)

Isolating y, we will have:

\begin{gathered} y=(1)/(2)(x-6)+3 \\ \\ y=(1)/(2)x\cancel{-3}\cancel{+3} \\ \\ \boxed{y=(1)/(2)x+0} \end{gathered}

As we have it in the slope-intercept form, it's easier to find the value of b.

As we can see:

m = 1/2

b = 0
