We will have that 125 will represent 100%, so 86 how much will represent?.

In order to solve for the percentage we want to know, we multiply the ammount we want to know the percerntage (86) times the total percentage (100%) and divide it by the total quantity (125):


P=(86\cdot100)/(125)\Rightarrow P=68.8

From this we gather that the 68.8% of people pass in their first attempt.
