In general, given a function g(x),


\begin{gathered} g(x)\to g(x+a) \\ a>0\to to\text{ the left} \\ a<0\to\text{ to the right} \end{gathered}

Therefore, (x+4)^(1/4) is the function (x)^(1/4) shifted 4 units to the left. The answer is option B
