How would I add imagery to this paragraph?

"I just didn’t know what it was." It was this big building with red bricks with giant windows on it. My mom and I walked in together and I saw a bunch of other little kids like me waiting with their parents. I thought it was a park to have fun but suddenly my mom tells me "I’ll be back for you at 2:45, have a good day." Now I was even more confused, but then I remembered that this place looked like a place I saw in a movie before. I was pretty sure that this building was called a school. I got butterflies in my stomach now because there were a lot of people there and I didn’t know anybody. I didn’t know what to do because it was my first time there, but after 15 minutes of waiting, some lady that I’ve never seen before told me to follow her and she said that she was my teacher, I was a little skeptical but I followed her with about 15 other kids into this room.

Final answer:

To add imagery to the paragraph, use descriptive language that appeals to the senses.

Step-by-step explanation:

To add imagery to the paragraph, you can incorporate descriptive language that appeals to the senses.

For example, instead of saying 'It was this big building with red bricks with giant windows on it', you could say 'The towering building had walls made of vibrant red bricks and enormous windows that invited streams of golden sunlight inside.'

By using vivid descriptions and sensory details, you can paint a more vivid picture in the reader's mind, making the paragraph more engaging and immersive for the reader.
