Given that the square has an area of 250 squared cm.


Area=250=\text{side}^2

Applying the square root to both sides:


\sqrt[]{250}=side

Switching sides:


\text{side}=\sqrt[]{250}=\sqrt[]{25\cdot10}=\sqrt[]{10\cdot5^2}=\sqrt[]{5^2}\cdot\sqrt[]{10}=5\sqrt[]{10}

Each side will be:


\text{length}=5\sqrt[]{10}=15.8cm^2
