A stone in a sling spins in uniform circular motion. If the stone makes 2 revolutions in 3.41 seconds, what is the angular speed of the ball (in radians/s!)?

First we need to change the revolutions

1 rev= 2pi

therefore

2 rev =4pi

The formula of angular velocity is

\omega=(\theta)/(t)

where theta is the displacement in radians and t is the time in our case

theta=4pi

t=3.41

\omega=(4\pi)/(3.41)=3.69\text{ rad/s}

ANSWER

3.69 rad/s
