To change the fraction to a decimal make the denominator factor of 10

(3)/(2)=(3*5)/(2*5)=(15)/(10)

We multiplied up and down by 5 to make the denominator = 10 now we can write it as a decimal

15/10 = 1.5

(15)/(10)=1.5
