Given the box plot showing the number of hours 220 people spent at a computer on a weekend

Where, 6 hours is the lower quartile of the box plot,

The formula for the lower quartile is

\text{Lower quartile}=(N)/(4)

Where, N is the number of people, i.e N = 220

Substitute for N into the formula for the lower quartile

\text{Lower quartile}=(N)/(4)=(220)/(4)=55\text{ people}

Since the lower quartile represents the number of people who spent less than 6 hours

The number of people who spent more than 6 hours will be

=220-55=165\text{ people}

Hence, the answer is 165 (last option)
