According to the given data we have the following equation:

h(x) = 2x^2 + x - 7

In order to solve h(x) = 8 we would plug the value of 8 into the equation.

So:

h(8)=2(8)^2 + 8-7

h(8)=2*64 +1

h(8)=128+1

h(8)=129

Therefore, h(x) = 8 would be 129.
