The area of the rectangle shown in the graph in is 54 units²

What is area?

Area is a measure of the extent of a two-dimensional surface, quantifying the amount of space it occupies. It is expressed in square units.

A rectangle is a quadrilateral with opposite sides equal and the area of a Triangle is expressed as;

A = l × w

where A is the length and w is the width.

from the graph ;

the length = 9 units

width = 6 units

Area of the triangle = 9 × 6

= 54 units²
