Solution

The area of a rectangular pool is;

$\begin{gathered} A=l* b \\ \\ \text{ where } \\ \\ A\text{ is the area} \\ l\text{ is the length} \\ w\text{ is the width} \\ \end{gathered}$

Given;

A = 4212, w = 54

$l=(A)/(w)=(4212)/(54)=78\text{ m}$

Hence, the length is 78m
