As we have slope , m =

And point (x₁ , y₁ ) = ( -5, -3)

⇒ y - ( -3) =

⇒ y + 3 =
-(1)/(5) ( x + 5 )

⇒ y + 3 =
-(1)/(5) x - 1

⇒ y =
-(1)/(5) x - 1 - 3

⇒ y =
