You cannot change the solubility of a substance by simply adding more of that substance to the solvent and if the solution is already saturated, any additional solute that is added will simply fall to the bottom of the container.

The solubility of a substance is a measure of how much of that substance can be dissolved in a particular solvent. Solubility is affected by a number of factors, including the type of solvent, temperature, pressure, and solute concentration

Solutes will generally dissolve more readily in solvents that are similar to themselves. We have that polar solutes will dissolve more readily in polar solvents, while nonpolar solutes will dissolve more readily in nonpolar solvents.

The solubility of a solid solute in a liquid solvent increases with increasing temperature because the increased thermal energy helps to overcome the intermolecular forces that hold the solute particles together in the solid state.
