Step 1: Write out the volume of a cylinder

\begin{gathered} \\ \text{Volume of a cylinder = }\Pi r^2h \end{gathered}

Step 2 : Compute the value given

\begin{gathered} \text{Volume of a cylinder = }\Pi r^2h \\ \text{radius = }(diameter)/(2) \\ \text{diameter = 18cm , height = 16cm} \\ \text{radius = }\frac{18\operatorname{cm}}{2}\text{ = 9cm} \\ \text{Volume = }\Pi\text{ }*(9cm)^2\text{ }*\text{ 16cm} \\ \text{Volume = }\Pi(81cm^2)\text{ }*\text{ 16cm} \\ \text{Volume = 1296}\Pi cm^3 \end{gathered}

Hence the volume of the cylinder = 1296πcm³ Option D
