In the book "Uprising" Mr. Kline gets into an argument with the factory manager because he was unhappy with his mistreatment of workers.

What was the cause?

In the book, we can see that Mr. Kline was a union organizer who was not happy with the way the manager was treating his employees. The manager had talked harshly to one of the factory workers. Propelled by his sense of justice, Mr. Kilne speaks up and confronts the manager about this.

Mr. Kline's act was courageous because he stood the risk of losing his job but he was unafraid to speak because the manager's acts were wrong.
