The given equation is,

Using Quadratic Formula,

$\begin{gathered} x=\frac{-(-3)\pm\sqrt[]{(-3)^2-4(1)(2)}}{2} \\ =(3\pm1)/(2) \\ =2,1 \end{gathered}$

Thus, 1 and 2 are required solution.
