For the triangles shown SAS and AA are true

For the two triangles shown ;

  • NM = PQ

with the length of NM being 7 and PQ being 5 , when these values are compared to the length of the other sides in both triangles, they are the same.

  • NO = RQ

This means SAS (Side - Angle - Side) is true for the triangle .

Also, the values of ∠N and ∠Q are the same as they both measure 20° .

Hence, they are similar .
