the given point is A ( -2, -2)

If we fix the y coordinate , then we can change only x coordinate

As we want point 3 unit away

So, add 3 and subtract 3 from x coordinate to find the resultant point

If we add 3 to x coordinate , we get

-2 + 3 = 1

So the point be ( 1, -2)

If we subtract 3 to x coordinate , we get

-2 - 3 = -5

So the point be ( -5, -2)
