Use the following function:
f(x) = 4 + x
f(-8) = ?
To find the value of f(-8), we substitute -8 in place of x in the function:
f(-8) = 4 + (-8)
Simplifying the expression:
f(-8) = 4 - 8
f(-8) = -4
Therefore, f(-8) is equal to -4.
