Think of negative numbers as BC century timeline.
-10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc…

Anything before -10 would be colder and anything after would be warmer. -8 is after -10 so it would be warmer, that eliminates A. -12 is before -10 so that would be colder, which makes B true. 8 isn’t a negative number, and makes it warmer compared to -10, that eliminates C. -20 is before -10 so that makes D true. 12 is after -10 which makes it warmer. That elongated E.
